New Year

Well it is 2009. I have not posted since 2008. So much for my need to write. I said I was not a writer but wanting to. Well here goes another try.

Need to write!

I am not a writer! I am a writer! I must become a writer. I have been watching video's on teaching students to write. The video states that the best writing teacher is the one teacher who does not write. Well, guess that is me!
Went to Church this morning. Taught Sunday school. Now I am avoiding going to bed. I am getting into this technology thing and listening to podcast. I believe this is a great way to get students to write too! I just have to figure out to get them to do this too.
How do we start?
Can I give them e-mail addresses?
How can I keep them safe?
Big Step, but I must make it!

Love for a dog named Cindy

Well it has been a rough couple of days. We learned last night that I dog got ran over and killed. It has been very sad around here. I just needed to tell someone. I have been up all night and day and cried my eyes out. I sure hope I sleep better tonight because I have to go back to school tomorrow. I know that the Lord will be with me! Any extra prayers would be helpful.

My Christmas Vacation

Christmas vacation is coming to an end too soon. I have too much to do and not enough time to do it.

I am trying to become acclimated with the 21st century technology and just figured out how to blog. I have been listening to a lot of pod cast and do not believe I would have ever made it to this without it. Thank you to all you podcasters.

This is my first time doing this but hoping that it will open my eyes to new visions of technology. Anyone out there willing to help, I would appreciate it.

I am a classroom teacher with a multi grade classroom. I work with 4 students, 3 third graders and a kindergartener. I teach in a self-contained class and have been there 10 years. I feel as if I am still in training and hope to keep this vision.
